5 Volts WOW

I wanted to try the 5 Volt batteries on my Grand. I finally charged one and put it in last night at work. I have a regular atomizer on my Grand, and WOW what a vape. The battery, even though it has a low rating, was still working 7 hours later. I am now recharging it and am back to my Mini.

Yep, 5 volts with a SR Joye atty (2.3Ω) is one of the best vapes out there IMO.

I have 6 of the 5v batts and find I go to them much more often than the 6v set-up.

Its a real sweet spot. The 3.5Ω atty is pretty darn good at 6v, but I loose the flavor pretty quick.
I can keep a 2.3Ω Joye going for a good long time.
Although I must vape more because the 5v batts only last me 4 hours or so then they get weak.

Well, I was at work for about 4 hours after I put in the 5 Volt battery, so it was a bit of sporadic vaping. But I did use it all the way home and went out shopping a while. I probably went through 1.5 ml of juice. The battery was not completely dead, but I want it fresh to go to work tonight.

Which 5V battery are you using?

I bought the 5 Volt battery and charger from Clouds of Vapor. It is light green and rated at 600 Mah.

It's great, I use the 5volt batteries/charger from electronicstix, these and cov look exactly the same
