Just wanted to say hello. I wrote a really long story and when I submitted it it said I was not logged in so lost the whole darn thing so will add to this later.

Tried the blucig disposable two weeks ago and haven't had a cigarette yet. well, it will be two weeks Saturday at noon. Using an Ego now......24 mg. I had NO intentions of quitting. None! bought the device to maybe help me when kids come to visit as the smoke really bothers them.

E cigs are a miracle .......no doubt about that. Looking forward to telling more of my story as time goes by, just know that I am in shock. how this thing could take a hard core chain smoker of 50 years and she instantly quits?? Amazing. I have read all 40 pages of the success stories in the last couple weeks so feel like I know some of you already.

Looking forward to more reading and sharing!

Welcome to the madhouse :) Be prepared for some interesting side-effects as your body heals from all the abuse it's been through...things like: being able to taste & smell things you've missed all these years, being able to walk up a flight of stairs without having to stop and catch your breath, finding new uses for all those ashtrays (finding out you've SMELLED like an ashtray all those years!) ...little things like that.

Been there...and never going back. My epiphany was getting ready to sell my house before moving to Florida, and taking down the drapes & washing them (I used to smoke in the house). I was shocked at all the brown/black water that came out of them. Then I started painting the walls -I was amazed that "off-white" looked like "brilliant-white" as I went along. Decided to quit that day....

Glad you're aboard, and strap yourself in for a great ride...it only gets better! :w00t:

Congrats!! It's great to hear another longtime smoker like me tell their tale! Started out same as you except I did want to quit... Thing was I hadn't really noticed I had until my wife told me she hadn't seen me with a cig in, like, 3 days after I started with e-cigs! It was that easy to just reach for my trusty Apollo e-cig than for a real one... Haven't touched an analog since 01.08.13!! :)
