Hi everyone, new to this forum and fairly new to the vaping scene.
A bit of history, i have been killing myself with analogs for the last 30yrs and have now been tobacco free for 7 weeks. The change over has cost me a small fortune (another story), until i found this site.

I have just recieved my ego and am really happy with it so am about to order some extras on offer like the 900mah battery, spare atty etc. I have been reading the forum for awhile now and it appears that the 510 and 901 atty's are very popular, so my question is would it be worth ordering a 901 Atty and adaptor, or are they very similar to the 510's?

I have tried both the 901 and 510's... as a previous analog user going straight from analog to vape (no analog supplements), I personally have found the 510 to produce more vapor/TH, which to me has been a critical piece enabling me to substitute vaping for smoking... just my .02

This is the one thing i love about the eGo 510 atty's and has helped me stay off the analogs.

The differences between the 510 & 901 are not, IMHO, monumental--not worth adding adapter paraphernalia to your setup. You've done well to go with an eGo as your first PV; I'd leave well enough alone.
Oh Boy, i wish it was my first pv, as i said it has cost a fortune so far, this is my third starter kit. My first one was about 6 months ago and was a Njoy, really frustrated me no end. Ended up back on analogs after a week. My second and third were purchased 7weeks ago called kwik quit (local branding) from our local pharmacy and is a mini with an automatic battery. It produced a decent amount of vapour and decent enough TH, the battery life was killing me. I had 2 chargers running and 4 batteries because the battery would die before the next one was charged and if we were going any where, i would have to carry 3 batteries for a couple of hrs vaping. I killed 2 batteries due to flooding, couldn't get spare atty's.........Aargghh!! So faced a choice do some serious research or reach for the analogs, so here i am relaxed and content with my new purchase, just a bit poorer for it.
Thanks for all the advice so far.
