510 ashcap WON'T come off!

Hey folks. I want to mod the ashcap on my 510... but the thing won't come off.

With my Kr8's, if I got my knife in the little slot, and applied some force, they'd come out. But this one... No dice.

I'm assuming it is seriously, seriously glued down. How do I get it off?

If you're sure you won't re-use it, try an exacto knife. But then again, I frequently destroy things trying to see what's inside. Someone else may have a less destructive suggestion, but perhaps a hair dryer would heat the glue up enough to cause it to pop out.

That is actually exactly what I wound up doing, lol. No other way to get it off.

I did kinda mess up the ashcap, but I'm not bothered. Who wants to look at ash anyway?
