thanks. i didnt mean to sound like i was blaming anyone.. i know its not like RMV makes these atomizers themselves. I was just wondering if they received a bad batch or if Joye in general was sucking it up. I have not ordered atomizers from anywhere else besides RMV in a long time which is why I decided to post it here.

According to a moderator here that tested Joye attys from several different vendors it's the biggest product defect ever seen on the ECF forum. We need to contact our suppliers and make sure they know so they can let Joye know that customers are complaining. If we don't complain they will continue to produce these inferior products.

I just got my atomizers and the wicks look different than the ones that came with my 501 kit.

Hopefully all is well, I plan on using them with my V2

Yes the threads seemed to be rolled into a ball and put in between the mesh and the bridge instead of between heating part and the bottom of the bridge. Pulling out the wicks did nothing. They still crackle and make a lot of noise but doesn't perform.

I will say I have noticed a higher then normal warranty claims with my latest supply of atomizers. I don't feel its a bad batch because still the majority are fine.
I do feel JOYE's quality control has slipped on both the batteries and atomizers and I have let them know how I feel. I also will try to get other sellers to pressure them as well so we can get them to improve.

If you feel you have a bad atomizer please contact me and I can take care of your problem

Kudos to you for not saying it's just "new user error" as many vendors are doing. As many have said in other threads it's not the fault of the vendors that Joye has quality control problems but without the vendors taking a stand nothing will change.

I plan on only buying from suppliers that offer some type of warranty and 30 days is generous. Some won't even cover DOA on attys and batteries so buyer beware.

I have a 510 atty from RMV that I have been using for about a month now. My first two attys I had came with my kit. One i broke by pulling out the wick a week or so after usage(noob mistake) and the second one I broke cause I pulled out the wick this was after a month of usage. So I have yet to have an atty fail. The two that are broke still work great for dripping.

for me atleast, pulling out the wick has never destroyed my atomizer. It actually helped. I would use a brand new atomizer as is until it starts to decline in performance. After that, I would pull out the wicks and it would perform like new again. IMO, burnt wick stuck onto the heater part of the atty causes a decline in vapor and in bad cases, a burnt taste.

only problem that i would see about a wickless atty for drippers is that atties will leak frequently, and possibly killing a hot atty due to direct contact rather than a slow(er) absorption by the wick - then to the heater. Of course I am not a pro with the anatomy of an atomizer so take that however you want.

Well I hope Joye Pics up the slack and starts doing some better QC. I just order 2 Attys from RMV so hopefully the Quality on those are like the ones i got with my Starter Kit. Im going on 3 weeks now and both my Kit Attys are going Strong.

If the new Attys turn out to be as good as my first one I will give my old one a well deserved cleaning.
