510 battery not blinking when dead

I don't have the instruction booklet with me, but perhaps someone knows. One of my new 510 batts (maybe 3-4 charge cycles) just dies without doing the usual blinking routine. I plugged it into the wall charger and it blinked a few times, and then the charger light went red as usual. Charging not complete yet.

Does this dying-without-blinking business mean anything to anyone?

I've also got one that has started doing that. Of course, mine has gone through considerably more than 3 or 4 charges but it has made me wonder as well.

I never had a battery do that but If it's that new i would try to send it back.
