Am I doing something wrong? I have lost 2 510 batteries this week. i am down to one now and I am going crazy. The 1st battery goes on the charger never turns green like it is charged. So it is just not accepting a charge at all. The second battery is a 51o mega and I charge it and when I press the button the led lights up but nothing happens.. I just bought the kit 35 days ago. Why is this happening ? Am I doing something wrong? I have the charger that came with the kit and I bought a usb charger. I do not have the money to be going through batteries like this. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Usually, 510 batteries last a lot longer than 35 days; two to three months I'd consider an average minimum. (Depends of course a lot on usage.) And they are pretty hardy, too, unless you put them in the washing machine or ride your car over them, they don't break that easily.

Battery one sounds broken. Check if you can return it. Battery two, now: Does it do that with every atty you have, or at least more than one? Are the threads on both battery and atty clean?
And since both are problematic in a different way, I don't think it's the rare case of one charger or attie having broken them, either.

buy a passthrough so you do not need the batteries..

try cleaning the battery end and the chargers threads and see if the one charges.. also take a needle and put it in the side hole near the threads and push it so that the inside piece gets pushed out a bit more.. it might of been tightened too much and was pushed in a bit and it is just not touching right anymore..
