Hello everyone!

I'll start off by introducing myself. My name is Jeremiah and I am located in Moore, Oklahoma. I started making mods a few months ago thanks to all the ECF modders (Cisco, Nicowolf, Cybervex). A big thanks goes out to them. I decided to make a few extra to sell for extra Christmas money and to help get along since I lost my previous business due to new state laws. I don't know if this will be something I will do in the future but for right now I am going to see how it goes.

I'll be starting off just selling regular 510 Box mods and will look into other big battery mods if I feel like people will like them. I will also be ordering 510 to 901 adapters so it will allow 901 users to use the 510 mods. My mods will have a warranty to protect from manufacturing defects. This warranty is for 60 days and you can find more info on what it covers on the faq page. I will be also offering cheap out of warranty repairs at a flat cost. All Box Modz are currently $25.00

I am offering First Class Shipping for $2.50 and Priority for $5.00. Anything over $50.00 will ship for free.

ECF members can enjoy a 5% discount by entering ECF as the discount code.

All Box Mods will have a black button or a red button (BLACK BY DEFAULT). Please use the contact page to choose red if you prefer.

Black Boxes currently come without an on/off switch but will eventually have them next shipment.

You should post some nice clear pics of the internals. Folks will want to see how well you've made them. The wire routing, your soldering skills etc.

Just what ive been looking for! i was going to attempt this myself but would be much more convienent to just buy one the price is great, and for 40 dollars for charger battery and box it seems like a great deal! ill definitely be looking into this very soon

im just sometimes leery about ordering from new suppliers(etc) even experienced ones.. my first experience was a bad one

I'll post some pics of the internals tonight after I get home or in the morning. The internals are very simple and solid. The Connectors seem to wedge in nice and tight but I also add a generous amount of JB Weld to make sure it isn't going anywhere. I have been switching off with three different boxes for the last month and I haven't had anything go wrong. Anything can happen and that is why I put a warranty in place to protect customers from being stuck with something that doesn't work.

Everything is looking good so far and I will be restocking asap. I really didn't know what to expect doing this so I didn't start out with a big supply.

I would also like to know if the box mods you make allow enough space in the battery compartment for use of a Protected battery (as you know, the protected batteries are a bit longer than non-protected 14500's).

The boxes I have seen for mods must have the inside of them modded a bit to allow for the extra length of the protected battery. Does a protected 14500 fit in your box mods?

Yes the batteries I have on the site fit comfortably in the box.

The best I could do right now was take a pic of the inside with my phone. The good camera is a loaner and i'll have to get it back as soon as I need to take more pics or products. I have added a picture of the inside with the battery inserted on my site. If you click on any of the box mods you can click on the arrow and it will show the next pic.

My apologies for the crappy iphone camera quality. I'll update asap. If you are concerned about solder skills I can assure you I am not a guru but I know how to solder well enough to ensure everything will have a great solid connection.

I am in the process of ordering more inventory and will hopefully have some more clear colors such as red, yellow and green. I am just waiting on paypal funds to reach my bank account because my supplier cannot accept paypal. So I would think it would be safe to say I will have a better stock by Wednesday of next week. Hopefully I'll have about 3 each of about 5 different colors by then.

Added 801 to 510 adapter to website. Got sent the wrong adapters so I am still waiting on 901 to 510 adapters :-(

Just an update. One person had an issue with liquid leaking through the connector into the box. The center of the connector should be sealed with solder. The edges of the connector could possibly allow liquid into the box if it floods. I have tried a sealer and had problems with putting epoxy over it so I opted for no sealer to make sure the connectors were held in place solid. I personally do not drip so unfortunately this issue has not got the attention it may have deserved so I will continue to find a better solution to the problem for our drippers out there. I am just glad it was caught quickly so it can be resolved.
