I don't know which end is the "carto end," but dripping into the larger mouth end (right into the filler) is way easier than trying to drip into a little hole that's a tiny bit bigger than a needle.

Woops should of proof read I meant the atty/threaded end. Dripping onto the open filler is much easier but I thought you meant using the condom method on the mouth end of the carto's that h ave the sealed filler.

Yes- I have these myself from Cignot and I initially filled mine using the condom method. You fill them from the threads end. To re-fill them, I just drip the juice slowly through the threads end about 8-12 drops. I slowly turn my carto while dripping, I guess to try to make sure the juice soaks in evenly. If I feel like I've dripped too much juice into it, I blow it out through the threaded end again onto a paper towel. This has worked awesome for me and I've refilled my cartos at least 8 times now. Kinda afraid to refill them one more time though because they're supposed to be disposable and I'm not wanting to waste any of my juice. I posted a few days ago to see if anyone could tell me if these can be cleaned but I recieved no response, so I guess I will just chuck them

First let me say I've not used the Joye branded carto's myself yet, but you can clean them with really hot water(I've soaked them in hot water, then cheap high proof vodka, then again in water and let them dry for a couple days. You might be able to even replace the old filler material which would be even better then cleaning it.

No, I was talking about the mouth end of the Boge cartos.

I only use a needle to fill the sealed cartos (the Joye 510--which I haven't bought yet and probably won't and Joye eGo Mega). I refuse to drip into the tiny hole at the threaded ends of any type of carto. I don't have that much time for the mess it creates and the extra time it takes.

Agreed dripping into the threaded end seems like it would be a real hassle. The needles kind of a pain sometimes but atleast its clean never make a mess when I fill. I'd prefer just dripping straight in the mouth side but like you said can't do that with the eGo mega's, or the CE2's, and after this thread I'll be careful not to order any Joye 510's.

I would like to try this method to clean them, but even after taking the 63 pieces apart from the mouth end, I can not see any kind of filling material???

OK- I just took mine apart and looked really good inside with a flashlite and there is NO visible filling material. That leads me to believe that they are truly meant to be disposable. That being said, what other types of cartomizers can I buy that ARE refillable until the atty dies AND also can be cleaned?? These are for my Joye 510's, which I do love :)

Ok at the moment my preferred cartomizers are the CE2's I got the larger sized ones from vaperite for $12 he also has some very tasty juices if you like coffee juices btw. I've been using the same 5 pack of them over the last week and not much degradation in taste at all, and all are still working great, with these you can do the PTB mod and since they don't use any of the cottony filler stuff they're pretty simple to clean. Heres a video on them they fill the same way as the joye's and the vid shows how to take it apart and do the PTB mod to it YouTube - All New E2 cartomizer PTB & Inner plug Mod & other Tips (Royal Smokers)

When you use a cartomizer with an eGo (NOT mega), do you use the cone? Is there a cartomizer that you do use with the cone? If you use it without the cone, doesn't it get too hot?

Some use the cone, some dont, I usually don't. As far as heat I find it to be the opposite, it gets hotter with the cone.

The cone is not required. It covers up the threads in the middle. It screws onto the battery first, and then the carto is screwed on (to the battery). When the carto is empty and it's time to screw on another full cartomizer, you have to unscrew the cone cover, unscrew the empty carto, then screw on the full carto, and screw on the cone cover. It was way too much screwing hassle for me, so I returned the two cone covers I bought when I discovered they only covered up the threads in the middle. Figured I didn't need them, and I don't mind the looks of it without the cone cover. Some claim that the cone cover can affect the heat and/or the draw, but I noticed no difference during the short time the cone cover was screwed on.

Unfortunately I can't buy from litecigusa.net as they do not ship outside the U.S. and Canada. But Health Cabin sells these. Are these the same as the ones with the soft caps that are easy to pop off?

7pc 1.6ml MEGA 510D Empty Cartomizer [510] - $9.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Yeah looks like the ones you can pop right off with a paperclip. Maybe Eastmall would be a good option too they're in China so I imagine shipping can't be to bad.($17 to US)
