i got a disposable on advice from a supplier when i said i like the 510 but hate the button and went ahead and spent the 13 bucks. considering it has so far had a better battery life and fits in my pcc i actually only put it down when the battery runs out. i also got a 901 and its pretty much my backup after seeing what the disposable can do and for that price im better off getting more than getting new attys. love it

I'm new to all of this. Just found out about electronic cigarettes a few days ago. I thought the disposable ones will be a good idea to see if I like it or not, but I've got a question.

Battery life last a few hours with these correct? Do they lose charge even if you aren't "smoking" it? Say I wanted to charge it up in the morning before I left work. Would it last me throughout the day. I probably smoke about 5-6 throughout the day at work.

1 wont last all day but if you get two and a pcc for a 510 its dependable. i work outside all day so battery life was a big setback when i first got my ecigs

The poor quality of the 510 disposable almost kept me from ordering a Joye 510 kit. They are NOT the same or even close IMO.
The disposables I have leaked, had decent vapor but no throat hit. But, I went ahead and finally ordered my 510 kit from Cignot out of curiosity and I'm certainly glad I did. No leaking problems, good throat hit, and even decent battery life.
Of course, other than the leaking problem, the vapor and throat hit can be credited to the manual battery of the kit. The disposable auto batteries never quite seemed to have it. We still like our 401s but the 510s are now on our list of keepers, and supplies will be ordered soon.

I think these kits are still a great deal, even with their few flaws.

If you use different carts/mouth pieces and learn to drip, these perform considerably well for their price. I haven't used cartomizers or my M401 since I received these.

While I think the supplied battery performs OK, I will admit I found I like the 510 atomizer on a KR808-D1 battery a lot better (adapter required).

For me this disposable kit is OK too, but gives a little harsh taste.

But, when I put it (atty from this kit) on my Sisco's Laser mode - perfect, nice and smoth, not harsh.

I guess that difference in voltage between 510 batteries, which is 3.1 Volts, and 10440 battery, which is 4.2 Volts at the pick.

And it's confirmed by Scotbee that KR808-D1 battery will give the full 4.2 at the pick.

So I got my kit in today. Took me a few drags to realize the cartridge that was already on there was empty lol so I put a menthol one on and noticed the taste is different than from a regular menthol cigarette. It taste more minty, like a breath mint or something. The whistling sound is a bit annoying. Like someone else said, there is no throat hit.

Also, when I opened the box I noticed the light was on? Not sure what that was about. I screwed it into the charger, and the light blinked a couple of times and went off so I assumed it wast still charged.

Strychnine, automatic batteries do that, they like to blink when you take them out of the box. Or when you move them, or there are very loud noises around them. Or …. Which is one reason so many people do in the end prefer manual batteries.
I have a few autos, and I actually like them. But they can be a tad tricky. Nevertheless, in case I worried you: I still think the disposable kits are great and hope we get them here soon, too.

As for taste, there is no way any PV will ever taste like an analog, unless somebody manages to imitate the taste of badly burning plant material and paper. And I am not sure there is such a big market for that. PVs taste differently, and, once you are used to not inhaling smoke, a very great deal better.

Hi everyone,

I'm totally new here and am so excited to be entering the new world of vaping and leaving behind all the nastiness of analogs.

That being said, my disposable 510 starter kit arrived today. I cannot for the life of me get it to work! A post above said it came with an empty cartridge attached? I opened mine several hours ago and don't recall having removed an empty cartridge, but I've been so stressed trying to get my first "vape" that it's possible.

I screwed the atty into the battery, and then took off the end piece that comes on the included cartridges and inserted it (even tho it is whistle shaped and the end of the atty is round?) into the atty. Then all I need to do is "suck" it like an analog in order to vape. Is this correct? If so, I guess I got a lemon. If not, please someone tell me what I am doing wrong here!

Thank you sooooooo much!

Thanks Tinkerbellsmom!

I just tried what you suggested and it ALMOST worked, lol, but as the saying goes, "No cigar." It was like a car that "almost" starts, then just doesn't quite get there. The light came on briefly as I was drawing, but I didn't see any vapor, or get any throat hit. This happened twice so far. At least it's progress!

Gonna' keep trying.....

Thank you!

I am literally drawing (sucking) so hard that it is making me dizzy, and still have only gotten a response those two (almost) times. Is this normal? I feel like I researched quite a bit before deciding to try vaping, but didn't read anywhere that it would be this difficult. Does it take a while to get one going but once it has begun, it is easier perhaps?
