510 gurgling and carto questions

Using my 510 a little over a week now. So the gurgling sound when I inhale through it is the norm? Thats what I'm picking up on from posts I'm reading.

Also order some cartos from MyVaporStore. Looks like they are the silver threaded ones. And from some of the threads I've been reading, I'm wondering now if I made a mistake buying them. Just using a standard manual battery kit. Hope I'm not disappointed. Just wanted to get away from having to refill so often.

Last question. On their site they give instructions for filling the cartos. They say to drip one drop at a time into the hole on the battery end. Should I follow that advice? I was going to do the condom method.

I don't fill my cartos that way, I pop the end off and use a dropper. I can usually tell if I'm getting too much in there before I over fill that way. Be sure to keep them moist and don't run them dry and you'll have good luck with those. Cartos are great for when you're out and about, just carry an extra one with you and if one gets low, just swap.

Hey there,

By the sound of it these are the BOGE cartos, and I really like them. I found the easiest way for me to treat these guys is to use the condom method for the initial fill, then blow out the excess (from mouth end through to thread end). To top off, just pop off the rubber plug and add about 4 to 6 drops around the edge of the filler (I run the juice dropper tip around the inside of the carto casing), let it sit upright a minute and gently blow out any excess so that when you inhale you don't get any juice coming up through the mouthpiece.

You want a sizzle rather than a gurgle. Gurgle for me always meant that my atty was borderline flooded ... a nice snap, crackle, sizzle though: heaven.

While my carts are a different vendors, I pull the rubber stopper from the mouth end and drip around the edges of the filler ... makes it much easier to see so as not to overfill and waste niquid.
