We're going to give away some freebies. But I haven't spent much time on the forum so I need help figuring out what type of contest to have and what the prizes should be.

Please give me some suggestions. Tell me what kind of contest(s) I should do and what the prize(s) should be.

If you want people to visit your website and check it out, I mean really look it over from top to bottom... Come up with a phrase and hide parts of it through out your website. Put a word or two here and a word or two there. You don't have to make it obvious like a different color text or bold text. Just put the words in out of context so that somebody will come across it and realize this don't belong here so, it must be a part of the phrase. Find the words and figure out the phrase and win.

To have a contest and drive traffic to your site try running a questions contest. Ask a handful of ?'s that pertain to what you sell such as "How many color options are available on Joye Mega 510 batts" or "How many Liberty Liquids fruit flavors". First person to post all answers right wins. Maybe have the contest run at a preset and announced time so folks can try to attend.

Whatever you do just make sure to announce the winner. I have seen some contests not do that and it doesn't reflect well on the vendor.

how about a variation of the "pick a number" game where people have to post a random piece of info about E-cigs with their guess. or maybe a one or two sentence quote from myPVshop.com.

I like the scavenger hunt type contests just because they're fun even if you don't win. If you edit your own site, you can always hide an "Easter Egg" someplace on the site and add that to a list of items like keyzy said. The egg is just the harder part to find to level the field a little.
