You probably need to drip just SLIGHTLY less. If I have an atomizer that gets like that, sometimes it helps to "blow it out" and start over. Everyone has a different technique, but what I do is stuff the corner of a paper towel or napkin into the 510 atomizer and then blow
through the battery end to flush out as much liquid as possible. It can also help to boil, place it in alcohol (everclear), or an ultrasonic cleaner to get rid of anything that may have built up inside. Some people will do a "dry burn" on an atomizer to use the heat to clean off anything that may be left behind, but I don't personally recommend it because it can pop an atty if you do it too long or just make the burnt taste worse.
Once done and it seems to be completely clean and dry, you'll need to start by adding 4-8 drops and give them some time to soak into the coil and it should work much better. If it "floods" and starts leaking again, it just means you need to use fewer drops--maybe back down to just 1 or 2 drops at a time and wait a little longer before refilling.
