So I bought two recently for use on my eGo and both are dead within 24 hours. They performed wonderfully out of the box, but both bit the dust within roughly 3 hours of use. If one went out, I can see it being faulty, but both? Could they both be bad? Am I doing something wrong?

are you using carts on them?? you need to keeep in mind these burn way hotter then a regualr atty which can cause them to die very easily if you are not used to using a low resistance atomizer.
No sir. I had purchased a drip tip and was dripping them. I would start off with 2-3 drops and get about 7-9 drags off it then set it down. Before dying, there was a sudden drop off in vapor production right after putting the drops in, then they simply stopped working.
May work for you but you'll never flood an LR atty by putting more drops in and you won't be dripping as much either. Why put only 3 drops in when 6 drops will last you longer?

I'm with Doots on this one. More than 3 drops and I get gurgling and sometimes seepage. 2-3 seems to be the sweet spot for me too. On a brand new atty or freshly cleaned atty 4-5 drops, yes. But as far as regular feeding, 2-3 drops strikes the right balance for me. YMMV as they say.

I guess it's a YMMV situation then as I regularly feed my LR attys 5-6 drops. So let's meet somewhere in the middle and say 4 drops minimum.
Try the joye Litecig Branded 510 LR atties they really work better and last longer than the others in my experience. The quality standard seems higher
than the other manufacturer's.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I have used other LR 510 Attys and they always tasted burnt or just plain fowl, and they popped real easy. These LiteCigUSA branded ones from Joye are AWESOME though!

I bought a LR510 atty a couple of days ago and it does not work. It gets warm but it is unusable. It gurgles and produces no vapor.
I should have bought a High resistance atty for my 5 vt passthrough?
I emailed Shawn and it is not returnable. If it is a working atty then why cannot I use it? On what do I use it?
I spent $27 dollars. I think I drained the new 801 I bought along with it. I am very disappointed. It's obviously my fault for buying the LR atty and have to eat my loss.

hi greenie, what was the order number? were you using it on the 5v passthrough or a battery? they arent designed for anything higher then 3.7v battery. if you want contact me using the link on my site, ill send you out a new one to see if that works.
I used it on my 510 disposable,my 801 which are both now practically dead and my pass-through (my pass through is ok). None of them would produce vapor but it obviously works since it drained my batteries? gets warm and sputters/gurgles?
It should have produced vapor anyway right? If so, and it is a bad atty, I will just chuck it. A costly mistake for me.

Will the Joye 510 LR atty work on a higher mAh battery? (900mAh to be specific). That battery is 3.7-4.2v, similar to an eGo 900.
I ordered 2 of your special LR Premium 510 attys yesterday Shawn. I'll see how well they work on the Vgo Diamond and the Xpower. Both are 900 mAh 3.7v.
I and my wife are using the Genuine Joye 510 wideband LR attys from LiteCigs. They are over a week old and show no signs of fatigue at all. We both drip and we both love these attys. Oh and we use Ego's also
