1. how long will the battery last if say i do 30-40 hits per hour, and how do i know if its going low.
2. how long is the charging time and how will i knw if its charged.
3. how will i know when to refill the cartomizer, do i have to look for a certain taste in it.

thanks guys! really appreciate any help.

The LED on the battery should start blinking when it needs to be recharged. Depending on the charger the LED on the charger should turn red when you screw the battery in and the led on the battery should flash to indicate charging. When it's finished, the LED on the charger will turn green. When you notice vapor start to drop off, it's time to refill the cartridge. Try not to vape on a dry cart - your atomizer will get a burnt taste that is hard to overcome.

Action, welcome to ECF and you will figure this out. As a rule a normal 510 battery is 180 mah, (milliamps per hour) so you get about 1.8 hours of use from a 510 nattery normal vaping, give or take. They sell 280mah and that will last a little longer, (litecigsusa.net. And then you can try the eGo or Riva an that will jump to 650mah and 900 or 1100 mah batteries that are optional. Normall first charge should be about 8 hours even if the green light comes on for hte first time charging, and when the cartomizer taste is gone or tastes like it is a buring dry taste, thate when you fill, or even before that so you don't overheat and burn it out. Good luck.

As of others have said, get a couple 510 batteries if you like the slim style, and and Ego or Riva style 650 for around the house use or general all day outing type use. The usb charge/pass-through may be the best version. Other than that, give some consideration to Boge cartomizers with metal/plastic drip tips for your 510 batteries. Good luck!

I have charger cables at work w/ a Rosewill RUC-6181 4-port amp USB to AC (from NewEgg). I also have a nice PCC from NoSmokeVA.com for my short 510 batteries. But I am loaded for bear - I carry both the 510 (2 batteries and PCC) and a KR808D-1 (2 charged batteries) and a Riva 510 750mah battery.

If that PCC wasn't so nice then I would be using Joye mega xl manual 280mah 510 batteries instead of the short batteries. I use mega xl at home.
