510 Mega battery

It certainly fits Betty. Now for wall chargers and outlets. I went ahead and purchased a wall powered USB hub with 7 USB slots and a bunch of USB chargers. I zip tied all of my usb chargers together and just plugged them all in. Now I only use one slot in my outlet to charge all of my batteries.

I'm planning on ordering the 510 mega battery during their birthday sale.
Will I need a different charger or will my 510 work?

TIA,
Betty

Joliet,

I also placed an order for some more Mega batteries today. That means I'll be giving all of my "standard" batteries to the wife.

Once that happens, I'll change my PCC so it only holds Mega batteries (i'll post the details of the mod). I realize the PCC will only charge a Mega a few times... but some is better than none.

:rolleyes:Where is this sale-I want some at 30% off, too!!!

I ordered a 5-pack of mega batteries this AM at 30% off and got an email shipping notice about an hour later. That's prompt by anybody's standard and I am looking forward to seeing how these things work.

lol! Geez! :pStandard batteries for the wife. And if you do get that mod goin', I hope you'll sell them. I hate not being able to use mine with the mega!

Think I should have followed ScottBee and ordered the 5 in one charger, but I spent
enough on the birthday sale Got 3 packs of atomizers and a mega battery pack.

Obviously, I'm not the only one that keeps a half dozen e cigarettes going at the same time.

Now, now Joliet... I'm not a hateful man and I love my wife dearly. She just ain't gettin' no Megas!!! ;)

Actually... she doesn't like them (due to the size) and she vapes about a third as much as I do. She is perfectly happy with the standards..... although she'd probably like them more if they were pink and I had put some nail art on them. Oooops.... did I inadvertently let out a bit of an "oink"? Must be the chauvenistic pig in me....

Godspeed,Sir!

I decided to go ahead and do the PCC modification today after we went and got the XMas tree.

It's complete and works just fine. Sadly... the numbers didn't work out exactly the way that I hoped they would.. and the mod was a little more involved than I was hoping. Probably/possibly not going to be viable for the casual tinkerer.

I know the rules.. pics or it didn't happen.

Below please find the picture of the modified 510 PCC. You can see where I had to open up a "window" to clear the button on the battery since it sits lower in the PCC (yeah, I slipped with the Dremel.. not my best work). The spring loaded plunger contact system used to be mounted up in the plastic piece. It has been modified (shortened substantially) and is now mounted to the bottom of the metal housing. You can see the Mega battery poking through and making contact. Through the glare you can see that the "charge" LED is illuminated.

It works fine... I just don't want to make another one for a little while! ;-)
