I had the understanding that the "mega" were made for Egos but i could be wrong

When you say "standard ego" what do you mean? are you speaking of the regular 600 mah batts?

To my knowledge, all 510 accessories work on the Ego. I've used standard 510 atts/carts and cartomizers on my Ego. I have no experience with the LR cartos and attys but I think as long as it's at least 650 mah, all is well.
