510 or 401?

Hey guys,
So I've been without an ecig for a while after losing my M401, and I need to get a new one because I've been smoking analogs again. Problem is, I can't decide on whether to get another 401 or a new 510.
I like the 510 idea because of the manual switch(my old 401 batteries would get triggered by loud bass, which is a problem when you DJ. Hell, sometimes they would even get triggered by my car's engine, damn old diesel).
Has anybody done the switch from the 401 to the 510, and what do they think? I'm looking at buying from either ecigmall or mypvshop (west coaster), and any advice is always appreciated.

My 2nd kit was a 401 and I loved it until I tried the 510. No contest, I prefer the 510 and the manual batteries. So much so that I just ordered 2 more as back ups while the price is so good at cignot.com. They are the lowest price I have found at 35.00 and fast shipping/excellent customer service. Geez, as many people I send their way, I should get a discount

I bought the 401 first...then, bought the 510 after not liking the vapor production on the 401. I'll never go back to the 401 again. I have a whole bunch of batteries for it though!

I have not tried the 401 so I can't really say. but I will second the cignot suggestion. They were super fast and the best deal out there. Order over $50 and the shipping is free.

The 510 wins hands down on vapour and hit in my view, but if you liked the 401 the loss of flavour with the 510 will be very noticeable.

also if you choose the 510, but still want the exposed atty a 306 has the same threads as the 510

My only experience is with the disposable 510. Based on the incredibly poor performance of the two of those we have, I would have to stay with my M401. We've liked the 401 from the day we dropped the RN4081s. BTW, shawn at litecigusa has manual M401 batts.

I bought a 510 to start and then an M402 a few days later. I love them both. The M402 is what I use in the car, or while I'm out. I like the "real" cigarette look and feel. When I'm sitting back on my couch just hitting that vapor, it's the 510 hands down.

Only way to be sure is to get one of each

I have a disposable - a 401 - and the vapor on it is a bit more than a puff.

I also have the 510 disposable from madvapes and it's basically a regular 510 but with an auto batt - much more vapor than the 401, but a manual 510 is even better.

Another plus for the 510 is if you end up going to a mod. Few mods are made for the 401.

it's depending on how you like your vape, 510 or 401 are a bit different. I love my 401s, but I am jealous of my girlfriends 510... 401 has impeccable battery life, reliability, and ease of use(dripping, for me). 510 is superior when it comes to throat hit and flavor, although these factors also depend on the type of juice. when im out and about or in the car, I love using my 401s. but when we're just sitting at home, i'd choose my GF's 510...maybe this means i should invest in a 510 passthru..

I have a 510 and my husband has the 401.
I love the 510, and I think the TH (a very important aspect for me) is a little better, but when I want to actually taste the flavor I'm vaping, I go find his 401 !

510 is more popular but everyone likes something different.

also the 510 attys in my experience last a long time compaired to others.
i run at 3.7v

i get months off 1 510 atty

Don't have a 510 but my 401 attys are near 4 months old now and my 801s are from Sep.21 when I started vaping. Haven't lost one yet except one 401 atty recently. So one month is OK but not great.

My Joye510 from Cignot and Bluegrassvapor awesome! Clouds of Vape! Just have to charge batteries often! PCC I recommend to you. Never tried the 401 but have tried 3 other ecigs and Joye510 so far my fav!
