510 or EGO?

I got a 401 about a year ago. quit analogs, then eventually I even quit the ecig. recently I have started analogs again and I want to start vaping instead, again. I still have the old 401 around but I figure it is time for an upgrade. Im looking at the 510 (a buddy got one a while ago and I really liked it) and also considering the EGO. I don't nessisairly need a lot of prolonged vaping time or a lot of battery life, but I would like to be able to take large drags. Also, I want a manual battery for sure. Which one would you suggest? is it worth it to take the step up to the EGO?

I like to blow rings and no burnt taste is important to me.

the atomizer is what makes a lot of difference on drags etc...

A 510, 801/Be112 and 901 all give different vaping experiences... one is not better than the other...
510 is the perfect workhorse... good vapor and TH almost everytime.
The 801/BE112 give you a throatful of vapor... holds more juice...
The 901 is the smoothest for a long drag.

Let me tell you my ideal set-up:

eGo - 901 atty - drip tip.

I like the 901 atty for two reasons...

One, I like long slow drags. 901 atty is idea for this. A tighter, cooler drag.
Two, easy to clean !!! everytime I clean a 510, I ruin it. All I do is drop my 901 in some everclear... blow it out, good to go and works like a champ again.

If you want to carry a pcc and a couple of batts. I guess the 510 would suffice. I really love my ego and just need to carry one charged batt with me. I always had pcc problems. 6-8 hours on one ego batt and 1-2 hours on a 510 in my experience.

I would recommend the eGo, I love mine so far. Just got it today. Only having it a day probably doesn't say much, but just look around the forums for other reviews and I think you will see that it is an awesome e-cig.

eGo. Got my kit from cignot and have not looked back. I take one battery to work with me and I don't worry about needing another one until I get home. I vape all day long (Roughly 11-12 hours with the commute) without needing another battery.

Honestly though, eGo style ecigs are good, 510 are good if you aren't willing to have the eGo's slightly wider design. (1.5x as wide roughly based on picture comparisons)

All that being said, if you're bored enough it's always worth a shot to try to make your own. ^_^

whats this drip tip and lr atty?

it has been almost a year since I was in the ecig world...

does a drip tip get rid of the filling in the cart allowing the liquid to drip onto the atomizer?

LR = low resistance. They run hotter at 3.7v. Same basic concept as running a high voltage mod on a regular atty.

Buy both....lol...really, I use both the Ego and the 510 (with a mega-battery).. I really like the Ego for long term vaping and use the 510s for driving in my car...short trips...to the store and back...both work for me...

I still recommend the standard 510 pcc sets for those brand new to the experience, and insistent on having something close to a regular cigarette in size, but with the eGo (or similars, i.e. Riva, et al) you get the very best of the 510, without the aggravation of constant recharging.

I would go for the Ego. The 510 is a great e-cig, but the battery life is way too short. The ego is pretty much the same thing but the battery will last you most if not all of the day. With the 510, you will probably need at least two mega batteries to make it through the day.

I switched from the 510 to the EGO and couldn't be happier!

I just added the new flat tip cart and HUGE new Addy for them, and WooHoo!! Ton's of vapor, and flavor! (Even on juices that were so-so before.) And it holds enough juice to vape all day.

Next, the new 900 mah batteries!

I also switch from a 510 to the EGO! Absolutely love it more than any other ecig that I have had. I seemed to be always filling and charging. Now, I use a 510 carto with my EGO and I never put it down and my charge lasts all day! Going to get the new EGO Carto....looks amazing! I have a question...does anyone know if the auto works just as good?

actually just ordered a Riva...did not know about the riva, but my understanding is its pretty much the same thing but cheaper. Got it from ecigsuppily. should be fast shipping from Arizona to Colorado!
