After a few set backs in building this I present the 510 split


Using 2 3ohm cartos @ 3.7v on a maxi roughstack this thing hits like a freight train.

Yup but using anything under 3ohm with a protected battery trips the protection circuit
Other than that its works exactly as I hoped, it is wired in parallel so the effective resistance is 1.5 ohms, just like a dc carto, plus the spacing will allow it to run two single coil map tanks, wish I actually had two to take a picture of that.
