They put a fluid on the wick to stop it drying out. Mine tasted absolutely foul. I boiled the attos for 10 mins to get rid of the stuff, then dripped 3 or 4 drops of juice onto the wick after shaking and blowing it dry. It still took a few tanks to clear the taste completely.

Ok so i need to clean it first what do you mean with boil  ?

That's just a 'primer" to keep them from rusting away while sitting around waiting for someone to buy them. I just blow them out, drop a little juice in them and blow them out again, and they are good to go. That is my favorite dripping atty BTW (wick plate removed).

How can i remove that to try?

Will boiling some water in a water boiler and then put it in there work aswell? with just normal tap water

I tried that but it didn't work, It was the first thing i saw recommended so it will work on some I am sure. Try the blowing and shaking first to get rid of the excess liquid.

The plate in the 510-T is in there very tight, and you will not get it out the same way that you see in the vids for the eGo-T without ruining it.

    This is what I use.

Stick a stiff wire in from the bottom (a small drill bit works well) Hit the top of the atty to drive the coil cup and wick plate up. Be very careful not to hit it any harder than necessary. It is possible to break the wires if you hit it to hard. Then the plate will fall out, you may need to use the tweezers. Then use a punch or drift to push the coil cup back into place. Make sure you get the cup all the way down or the atty will leak.
It will look like this inside with the plate removed

This video was a godsend. I reference it often.

Im saving this! Now I can make boiled eggs, mac n cheese being able to boil water opens up a hole new world for me! The only problem is I have a gas stove I will have to go and buy one of those electric burners.
    Thanks Eric!!!!!!!
