It's an eVic, and it's my SECOND one that's done this!
I really love my eVic but this is ridiculous.

I am using an eGo to 510 right now.

I'm not sure to blame the eVic or the clone atomizers? One of them is the blame.

I was hoping someone here, who maybe this happen to knew how to repair. It amazes me what people figure out ;)

you can also get some noalox and a just a teeny dab will do ya, this lubricates the threads and you won't booger em up as bad

Also when you take a topper out, run some paper towel down in it to clean out the goo, it attracts dirt and dirt + juice = grinding material = eaten up threads

Once the threads are stripped...well...time to dump it in the "spare parts" box

That's awesome! Now I need a stainless 510 adapter, that way I'll only need to do that repair once!

Thanks for the link!

Unless someone says differently, and it is certainly worth pointing out, you can count on the 510's to be made of brass.
chrome plated brass

This is why I bought a 7x.5mm tap, definitely want to see if that press fit thing works...might be an alternative fix method for the Vamo threads of doom as well...

all I know is if you put a teeny bit of noalox on after you clean it out and be very careful threading the tanks on they last a long time...my Vamo is still going good...but I also switched to eGo type threaded tanks to give the 510 connector a break
