510 to 801 Stealth Adapter w/Fusion Cartomizer = Shorter eGo battery life??

My Boge LR burnt out and I am at work with a shipment of IKenvape cartomizers (801 LR Fusion). Decided to try the Fusions out (I really bought them in anticipation of a mod on order). Anyway, I used the 510 to 801 stealth adapter. I noticed right away battery was dying, but thought perhaps I maybe I didn't charge it last night like I always do. Put it on the charger and used another one. . . that one has also died. Not sure if they are dead, dead or what. Question is then, would that set up ruin or blow eGo batteries??

Did you get any juice leaks into the adapter? That will short a battery when you press the manual button and a good battery will notice the short then flash and refuse to work. So first I would check for is liquid in the adapter or threads. A bad/misused battery with damaged protection circuits might allow the battery to be shorted and kill the battery - if the battery or button got hot I might suspect that.

Do you have anything 510 to put on the "seems dead" battery to see if it's actually fine and still charged?

Also what were the ohms of the 801 thing you put on. Some people have killed Ego batteries with things under 1.7 ohms and since ohms are inexact some avoid things under 2 ohms on encased mass-produced batteries.
