510 to eGo adapter

Not sure if this belongs under this heading but, I am wondering if the 510 to eGo adapter is rebuildable?! I use it to connect my T3Ss to my eleaf batteries, and the center pin that is held in with a rubber gasket, often gets to where it will not make contact anymore...like more than just prying the pin out a little. Has anyone tried rebuilding this adapter? How can I refresh the last 2 I have without messing them up? (I do rebuild my T3S coils). I ordered a bunch of new ones awhile back that didn't work at all. They screw down before they make contact.

Hi,
Perhaps you could use a small length of wire as the positive contact. You could make it just a hair or two longer than the current center section to ensure connectivity.

If you go this route, confirm that whatever you use is solid core versus stranded wire and is held securely by the existing grommets.

If that doesn’t work You mate need a new gasket. Finding one would be difficult, but it shouldn’t be expensive. Might also be able to just get a whole new adaptor. They’re still available and quite inexpensive as well.
