Hey there. I am pretty new to vaping, almost a month now. So I may ask questions that should be common sense... Idunno... Anyways!
I got this USB passthrough / battery -- It is pretty cool, I plug it in when I need it and I unplug it when I am on the go... After a day of using it, I notice that about every 2 minutes or so, while just sitting there... the battery will activate for about a second, the light comes on, it will make a "fizz" sound, a very very small amount of smoke -- UGH SORRY, "vapor" will come out the hole in the cartridge. I would assume this is a faulty battery / switch, but it seems that it does it at a regular interval and nothing causes it... it can be just sitting on the table.
It will do this whether plugged into USB power or not, but when the atomizer and cartridge are off of it, it does not do it. So I am also thinking this could be an atomizer issue, but it doesn't do it on my other batteries.
Do you guys think this could be a faulty unit or is this some kind of self cleaning mechanism or what? Idunno... I do know I am scared to leave it unattended with the atomizer and battery connected. I can't post links yet, but there is a video review on YouTube with the exact item I have from the exact store done by a user with the name of "BigIceDog"
It did it three times while I was typing this post...
Oh yeah, this is a 510 unit. It is either a JoyE or a knockoff of that... i think.
