I am still an analog smoker, just not for tobacco. I find all my PV's give off larger volumes of vapor than the volume of smoke emitted by my analogs.

Throat hit... well that is variable in both cases. Sometimes vaping hits me harder than analog and sometimes analog hits me harder than vaping. It depends on the juice I am using for vaping and the quality of ... you know, that I am analog smoking.

The 510 is my choice. I smoked for the first month while I got used to the e-cig and while I obtained enough parts to make it through a good day on the e-cig alone. Now I have been analog free for 2 weeks.

Not all parts are created equal though so be aware that if yours doesn't give you enough vapor contact your vendor and ask questions. My first Yeti came with some poor performing atomizers and I was disappointed with my 510. The second one I bought came with 2 atomizers that performed properly and there was a big difference. A good atomizer on a 510 with a good liquid in a new cartridge will produce more vapor that the average analog. Now I know better and will question a poor performing atomizer.

I hope this helps.:)

I was smoking roll-ups at weekend without a filter on and I was panging for my 510!! I just wasn't getting anywhere near enough throat hit off the roll-ups.

I'm going on holiday next week and was thinking of just buying analogues there cause they're so cheap but I've decided I'm still using my 510, it's just better in every way!

Lynchite, I fell into that trap just before Christmas. I had not smoked a cigarette for a month and then went on holiday via Dubai...cheap cigs there and I couldn't help myself. I have not managed to totally get off the damned things since. I received my 510 at the beginning of the week and I am now down to 2 analogues in the mornings only. I do not plan on buying any more cigs and so the 510 has really helped me in getting back on the wagon. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do in the end.

I can get so much vapor from my 510 it causes it can actually blind me for a second if im in a area with still air!
I have sneaked a analog every now and then, and honestly Im not getting much out of them. Usually its at my buddies house on a Sat night.Hes smoking so I bum one.
I dont feel anymore "nurished" afterwards and it doesnt taste as good as I remember.

My janty atty doesnt seem to crank like it used to,so Im on the spare (its about 30 days old).I blew it out and let it sit.If it doesnt perform like my spare next time I try it,shes getting exchanged.

My 510 is awesome... I was out last night smoking it with a bunch of analog users, and I can easily say it produces more vapor than an analog would...

I was amazed at how much better mine was compared to my 4081 and 901s... If you're getting poor performance I would switch the attys, make sure you have a full 8 hour charge on the batteries (Even if the charger goes green, my charging light only turns red for a second when I hook the batteries up, then goes green, even if the battery is completely drained). And if all that doesn't work, then I dunno....

also when filling carts how do i know when to stop putting liquid in the cart?

As a rule, the prefilled wick can hold about 7-8 drops if you drip them about 5 minutes apart. (Some users remove the wick and drip a few drops in the cart itself, but IMHO that is just asking for a big fat draw of e-liquid) We have a brief FAQ here Using E-Liquid FAQ although I'm sure there are better ones that some of our ECF power users can point you to

You can usually reuse carts up to 10-15 times, but I'd replace the wick with basic poly-fiber pillow fill that you can get in any arts and crafts store. There have been several posts in the forum about which of the fills work best.
