I don't know why it makes a difference and I can't find the post with the pictures and they're not on the royalsmokers site anymore. Basically the first version where the wick went into the cup they were pushed far down into the slots and for whatever reason this caused lesser performance. The 2nd version had the wicks higher up in the cup slots. Wish I could find the old and new pictures for ya but i searched high and low. I THINK mwa had a post with pics but I can't find it. Ask Mr. Martinez: office@microcig.com

the plastic tube is a lot higher and goes to the top of the metal casing to prevent them from leaking the mouthpiece is different and the silicone rubber bung fits much better.
siouxsie i know what you mean about the picture

Unfortunately this HC version does not include the larger filling port, and two separate tips, one round and one whistle, with a little protuberance (love that word) that goes into the filling port to seal it. Why do you think the enclosed instructions say you can use a dropper? Because they have this other version and I'm afraid this microcig company is not the most ethical. The one thing I hate about all the CE2s is that the air gets trapped inside with nowhere to go so you cannot totally fill them without leaking because of this. You can really see it in the clearos where there are air pockets and despite it not being full if you keep trying to put more in the trapped air forces the liquid out the top and the bottom (leakage). I can't get anywhere near 3.7mL in this version of the Giantomizer. Unfortunately, the price is good here and the local sellers are charging like $10.95, are you kidding me...

I totally wish that the rubber bung didn't fit so well. On the regular CE2s I like to remove them to fill and put them back in upside down. With drip tip and this setup you get a full carto with no leaking. This "bung" fits so well that when I take it off I can't get it back on properly around the coil cup and push hard enough and the plastic sleeve gets pushed down inside so the tip doesn't seat and is loose. Lesson learned and $6.30 wasted.

Related to my above post, the instructions that came with this version with no fill port and no "pin" on the bottom side of the tip. They don't exactly match the above description. See bold and underlined text.

1)Remove the CE2-TIP
2)Hold the Giantomizer 45 degree
3)Use Pipette or CE-Bottle to refill
4)Do not add too much liquid to prevent leaking 3.7mL or 5mL maximum
*5)Place the CE-tip with the pin in the Giantomizer*
6)The first time use we recommend to puff +20 times without inhale the vapor
7)Refill when 90% empty
8)Use for each flavor different Giantomizer
9) Clean only with Hot Water
10) Use the liquid within one week, after refill

I hope this version doesn't taste like rubber. I will give them one more shot before I wash my hands clean from them for good. I don't mind the ce2's but the first run of the giantomizers were a complete flop in my book. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these aren't.

Never tried the first run, but these (I'll call version 1.5 or version 2 of 3, not sure what they're calling the version I described above...lol), BUT these taste just fine, no rubber taste. They do have the fatter wick of the clearos and there does not seem to be any wicking issues. But that info is only based on the one I used before I tossed it after rendering it unusable as described above (my fault).

You don't have to do that, the instructions in your first post fits with the version you are selling. But the instructions I posted are on the cards that are shipping with the 5-packs and these instructions are for the version with the larger filling port, 2 different tips, and the little protrusion that sticks out from the bottom of the tip to seal the hole in the plastic thing that covers the cup and coil.
