5V vaping just not for me. Is it really for you?

I'm not sure why your still following this thread.

Because I would like to help you but you aren't listening to any suggestions that actually make sense.

If a 4.5ohm atomizer on a 5v mod is too much throat hit/warmth/vapor for you, you really (REALLY) need to look at a 3.7v mod.

I'm not intimidated by it, I just like modest amount of vapor I guess.

And was it suppose to take 2 hands to operate? Or was she just doing it wrong?

Sounds like you have the option to try those 5.0 ohm cartos. I say try them and if they work, your Good to Go.

And if they don't, well, you can cross that Bridge when you Get There.

Thanks, that was kinda the suggestions I was seeking. Guess I asked it wrong

Using this quote by you:

Can you give me a good recommendation on what might be a good combination with my 5V? Knowing that the 4.5ohm atty seems to be too much for me.

If a 4.5ohm atty on a 5v battery is too much for you, then a 3ohm carto @ 5v is going to be MUCH too much for you.

Ok, I guess I'll just stop beating around the bush and say it. I've seen your recommendation 5 times now, and said it wasn't what I was looking for. Thanks for the suggestion, but no point in telling me over-and-over. I'm asking, Please, don't bother making that suggestion again. I got it. I feel like you just need that last word in there every time to make your point. I would appreciate if we just move on from that now. There really is no need for you to continue following this thread. Thanks for your advice, it is taking in to consideration ------> 3.7V mod.

One thing to add:

When I started vaping, lower wattage was fine, but once I vaped for a month or so I needed more & more. The 7-8 watts I was getting from my first set-up wasn't leaving me satisfied anymore. Even now, after a year, I start my day at a lower wattage vape, & increase during the day. Don't give up on the 5v yet. Your needs may vary as you gain more experience.

Haven't given up yet. Just looking for a more suitable combination of cartos with it. I spent the time building it, so I'm going to at least give it a chance. And if it doesn't work for me now, good advice, I'll come back to it later.

When did they start making those 4-5ohm cartos?

I don't use many cartos, so those products aren't on my radar.

Smoketech has been making them for a while now. I'm not sure when MV started handling them.

That is pretty high ohm, on 5v you would have 5w. 5w is like a 3.7v pv with 2.7 ohms.

and that is what most of the small bat PV's come with (or even 3ohm)
The new SD Keyring comes with 2.5ohm cartos.

That probably be perfect for me then at the time being. Because I'm used to using a KR808 3.7v with 2.8ohm carto (around 4.6W). So the 5v and 5ohm would give me 5W, which would be at least what I'm getting now, maybe feel a little more of a TH with the extra 0.5W? Or you think I'd even notice?

That's cool man, you're stuck in a hard spot considering you're using a high voltage device but don't like high voltage devices.

Find the highest ohm whatever you use and stick it on there and have fun.

But the 4.5ohm atty gives me around 5.5w?, and that seems like a lot more than what I'm use to with my KR808 3.7v. Going from 4.5-5.5 should be significantly noticeable to me?

It shouldn't be significantly noticeable to you, but then again, you're vaping at such a low wattage that it may be.

At 5v you'd have to use a 5.5 ohm atomizer/cartomizer to get to your desired 4.5w.

I'm about 99.9% sure these are not currently produced.

    So good luck.

Not stuck in a hard spot. I still have my 3.7 510 & my 3.7 KR808, which suit me fine. Didn't say I didn't like HV mods, said I didn't like too much vapor or TH. The purpose of this thread was to get suggestions for a good combination of carto/atty to use with it. If I would have known if you'd loose sleep over it, I wouldn't have started the thread. I'm stiff baffled why you keep lurking around this thread.

I'm not stuck in any hard spot. But I am looking for an alternative carto/atty solution.

Once again, your 2 cents:2c: taking into consideration. Thanks, appreciate it. :)
