5V vaping just not for me. Is it really for you?

Back to the op, I am hooked-with different juices, mind - on the ego with a Resurrector (1.7ohm smoketech) and the 5v RSM with a 1.5 DCC. I know others nay say the 1.5 DCC at 5v and maybe it's just the way Cappy builds them, but OMG tobacco and bakery comes alive there! Just my experience, at 5v this has been for more than 5 months, so I am not just trying it, I really use it every day without fail. :) Everyone likes different things and has different equipment. Good luck to you finding what works perfectly!

Dont sweat it,we all took time and alot of questions to find what worked for us.Please dont ever worry about asking questions or asking for help. Most people on ECF are more than happy to jump in and offer a hand.I think your headed in the right direction!

Thanks keyzygirl. I haven't been afraid to ask anything yet though, regardless is it seemed like a stupid question. A wise man once told me "There is no such thing as a stupid question...just stupid answers" - Grandpa

I've found a majority of the folks here are great.

Honestly, high voltage vaping has never been an interest of mine and don't feel strange if it isn't for you, either.

I've found that low and high voltage vapor production devices have very similar satisfaction levels and that I just want highly reliable hardware from which I can obtain flavor, nicotine and some amount of vapor.

If you're thinking you might have the same perspective, I'd say a REO Grand or Mini with the recommended battery and a normal resistance atty or carto is perfect for long term use. The vapor production is cig-like in density and, more importantly, mouth/throat-feel. It is also a highly durable device that decreases the need for fiddling that is typical of tanks or feederless cartos.

I've had to completely abandon my 5V PTs. At first, I'd get mouth sores only with some juices, but that must have sensitized my system because of late anything I vape at 5V causes sores, which open my system to infection.

I never preferred 5V over my standard 808D-1s anyway -- the difference wasn't completely to my liking. I only went to it because I can't find any battery-in-line PTs!
