Bought a couple to play with. Has anyone converted these to rebuild-able? They have 4 wicks, 2 thru the coil and 2 laying on each side of the coil. The ceramic cup is much larger and has 4 wick grooves. The coil is much larger than normal and looks like 32awg. They give monster vaper at 2.8 ohms at 5v. The 4 grooves will make it easier to mod, 2 for the silver wire posts and 2 for the SS or cotton wick. Waiting for one to pop to mod it.

I have had bad leaking problem with those and convert them into genesis type atty.But if there isn't any leakage,yes,they do give monster vapor and strong throat hit.

Mine leak also but a little potting epoxy to fill the base and firm everything up fixed that, what I really like is the large ceramic cup. I also opened the fill holes so they drain any condensed juice back to the tank and stuck a silicone cap from a smaller clearomizer on top to seal the mouth piece.

This large cup is going to be fun to mod and test new wicks, like cotton gauze. Really like the monster coil in this thing.

This thing has a loop of wick going thru the coil and two long wicks that lay on each side of the coil with four long legs into the juice. Of all commercial attys I have tried over the years it is the biggest producer of vaper by far, that said it is crappy materials and construction, leaks like a sieve but can be improved and I bought a few for parts. I like the 17mm diameter (no longer have a lathe) of the base and the large cup for modding.

great stuff BJ. so what kind of epoxy do you use? not sure where you put it, but is it in contact with your juice?

I use a high temp potting epoxy. I mix then pour it into the base and let it set overnight, yes it makes contact with the juice but have not had any issues. I don't know the brand as a friend who has a shop that pots electronic equipment for the food and medical fields gives it to me. He buys it in 55g drums.

does anyone know if dct end caps fit in these? id much prefer to use a 510 dt than the supplied thing.
also i was wondering if ce5+ cores might fit/clip in these so as to replace the wick.
