That does seem odd, the opposite reaction would be expected, are you using the same wattage? Though, I think hot vapor would be felt on the inhale, not the exhale?

I will say this, though. Whenever I change ANY variable, my body responds, and sometimes not in the expected way, you may just be adjusting to the new mix, and/or maybe without more PG in your tank, it takes longer/you're heating the vapor and/or something is happening to the *flavoring* ingredients that may be heating up also causing things to act differently in your TANK than you are used to?

Huh. Well, there's a potentially LOGICAL chain of events, though I'm not sure how *likely* it is, it's all I can come up with, though.

I'm sorry.... I assumed the flavoring was the same. You might be sensitive to an ingredient, and if it's from a different place altogether, they might be using a different brand of PG or VG, which I guess you might be sensitive to? I'd say scrap that flavor, then, and it's probably not your ratio of PG/VG that's at issue, just that bottle of juice itself.

Stols sounds right, I tried a brand a juice once, I think it was called G2, felt like I came down with something. Took a 24 hours to get over it once I stopped using that brand. Shame too, that was tasty RY4.

Anyway it could be my tank? Cause i have noticed it is rather thick and the wicking holes on my coil are small

Put in a few drops of clean water in the tank and shake it. That'll thin it up a little. Everyone says to use distilled, but if you are just testing stuff out, tap water should be fine.

I use 100% VG (alergic to PG) in a Nautilus 2 which has a 1.8 coil but also not the hugest airholes of all time (I don't need them, really) and I'm still able to vape without any throat issues, and the juice is just fine. You can certainly thin out the mixture to see if it alleviates issues for you, but I am going to be betting that this particular juice is most likely the problem, not the vape consistency, but by all means test it out so you can be sure (I have been known to be wrong about things as much as the next person.)

Thin it, if ONLY to make certain that it IS your juice, not your ratio.

Well if you like the juice and have found a way to vape it, that's great.

I am uber careful about that stuff, but oh boy, my lungs have been a mess. I'm also congenitally unable to vape liquids I don't like the taste of, and they often taste slightly different when I vape them at the store.... I've taken to buying very small amounts, at first.

And OH, I ordered all supplies necessary to start DIY juicing, so I'm excited. Including enough nicotine to last me for EVER, so I'm exicted about that. :) Just going to be using premade flavor mixes at this point, but I'm pleased.

I was vaping a 70vg/30pg juice. Could chain vape if i wanted to. No scratchy throat. I switched juices to a 80/20 and now on exhale it scratches my throat. Is it something to get use to? Or does my body adjust? Please help

It could be. A harsh hit is caused by many different factors. Usually %10 extra VG is not a radical change, and certainly not enough to do the opposite, which is add throat hit. The only guesses I would have, are:

1) this batch is different than the last. Even if it's the same flavor, perhaps they use a different company for flavoring, have a different batch of PG/Nic, and it is just simply different from the last.

2) Mistake made during mixing. I have ordered some flavoring from a major company, and even when the bottle said one thing, I could definitely tell there was more nicotine in my batch. The company was kind enough to send a replacement, and I did end up vaping it, but diluted it with VG.

3) Your atomizer may not be wicking well enough. The best way to find out is to take a look at the wick itself if you can. Burned cotton can make for a harsh and bad tasting vape. The higher the VG, the harder it is for wicking. Since I build my own coils, I adjust for high VG percentages, but in premade coils like the Nautilus, they're designed to work around a 50/50 mix. If you vape a higher VG, you can adjust your vaping style, and prime it a few times before you vape to compensate for a thicker juice.

4) old coils... old coils make it hard to wick, and will cause juice to taste differently as well. This leads to dry hits as well.

hope those suggestions help. Without experiencing it myself, I cannot say for sure what's causing it, but I can at least point you in a few directions to figure it out.
