72mm or 75mm length battery wrap?

Same seller sells same type/lot of wraps, but one with 72mm length, the other with 75mm.
What's the right length for our batteries, and what are the others for?

Both could be correct if one wrap is thicker than the other or a tighter tube.

I'd buy the longer ones.... easier to cut to size if too big vs Making something longer if too short.

Bought a pack of these 75 × 30mm translucent yellow ones sometime ago, they're a tad longer than it needs to be for unprotected flat top cells. As 93gc40 says this is solved by scissors' snip, 3 to 4 mm. The longer wrap can be of help for rewrapping button top and/or protected cells.

That's why I was asking. This doesn't make sense to me. The insulation cap on top has a different inner diameter for flat/button tops, but that's it. So when the same seller sells both versions, with all other specs being identical, there should be a reason for doing so. That's what I'm interested in.
