I only took up vaping 3 weeks ago and was previously a smoker of 16mg at about 40 per day, I have some 36mg... 24mg .. 18 mg and switch switch between them thru' the day when I need something stronger to keep me from thinking about cigs, it's worked so far and haven't had a ciggie since my first vape ..... after trying all the 'approved' methods of quitting and failing ... I'm stoked... just swapped a really bad habit for a healthier ( and cheaper, in the long run) alternative :vapor:

Just thought I would add a little more to the conversation regarding nicotine level. OP, what is your underlying reason when you originally said you needed a lot of nicotine? We know that the tobacco industry is heavily regulated and the typical cigarette contains between 1 and 1.5mg of nicotine. That makes 20-30mg per pack. If you smoked the whole pack, realizing that only 10% of the nicotine in the cigarette is actually absorbed, that means out of a pack of cigarettes you are absorbing between 2 and 3mg of nicotine. At 18mg e-liquid strength, while there are no hard-and-fast numbers like there are for cigarettes (if there are, someone please point me to them!), my educated guess would be 3-5% of the nicotine in e-liquid is absorbed. At 5%, that means a 0.9mg/ml nic is absorbed, so a 3ml tankful of 18mg e-liquid yields the same nic absorption as a pack of cigarettes.

I think your info on cigs may be off. From what I've read most cigarettes contain around 10-12 mg nicotine, and deliver about 10% of that. So each cigarette delivers around 1 mg, but actually contains a lot more. I can't cite a specific reference, but I looked this up a while ago and found that information in several different places. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just wanted to throw that out there.

As for the 40 mg/ml, that's pretty strong, although the stronger Njoy disposables are supposed to have 45 mg. I've tried them, and they didn't knock my socks off or anything. Like a pp said, I didn't vape away on them for long though, as they are expensive. I was just trying them out to see if I'd recommend them to someone interested in vaping. I don't know. If you try it, do be careful!
