Their prices are usually very reasonable so I will let you know what I find out. Hi there, I have a question I'm now on my second target the first one went back because of a screen problem, it happened when the battery was down to about half and the mod got really hot. I've received the second one today and with out even using it I've got the same problem. Is this a common fault? The photo attached shows the problem I'm having. Thanks in advance

Here's that other report of screen glitcheo that the lovely Tibs mentioned:

It may be a rare issue as I dont really see it mentioned here... but when his battery starts to get low, the screen glitches out and the only way for him to fix it is to remove the battery/charger.. recharge.. and then it eventually starts working again. He is able to vape with it during this time, but screen is glitched.

Thank's for getting back, it seems strange that 2 from the same vendor have the same problem, I called a shop that sells them and out of the 60 they have sold not one has come back with any problems.

1. What kind of batteries are you using? (Brand, Model/Part Number, Amp rating, mAh rating)
2. How old are the batteries?
3. Where was the Mod purchased?

The batteries I'm using are Sony vtc4 there less then 2 months old bought from my local vape shop.

I got the target online from subohmmasters nice bloke who changed the first one for me, I'm just a little confused as to why it's happened twice now lol.

That situation is quite odd. I was thinking it might be your batteries, but it shouldn't be. I have some VTC4, so I'll check to see if I get the error in mine. I guess it could be a battery fit issue. I have a Sample. Is yours marked Sample?

I've been running mine on mostly VTC5s, but I've run VTC4s in it with no issue. Worth noting, mine is also marked sample and is the white one with orange buttons.

The batteries I'm using are Sony vtc4 there less then 2 months old bought from my local vape shop.

I installed a VTC4 and had no issues. I didn't use it very long, but didn't have a problem right away. I've never had any kind of problem with the screen.

I wonder if it's something like a bad batch. Maybe try asking the vendor when they got them. I don't know if the Target system has been cloned already, but that is a possibility these days.

It's not marked at all there's not even a serial number on it. Is that normal for a mod as the other 2 I own both have them?

That is a little odd... even the clones that I've bought of other mods/attys before had numbers and stuff engraved in them. The one that I have was a contest win and it says "Sample. Not for sale." on the bottom, and the tank says "Sample" right above the slot on the AFC ring and "Target Designed and Manufactured by Vaporesso" on the underside.

Please look at your packaging. A lot of Mods have a "scratch off" sticker for the serial number.

Sorry if you've already done that. Mine doesn't have a serial number, but it's a Sample. However, I have another new Mod that I just got today. It's a Joyetech Mod and it's a Sample too, but it has a serial number. I was a little surprised by that, so I guess it's up to the manufacturer if they get serialized.

You made me look. I said "mine too", but when I looked at the set, my Tank has Vaporesso engraved at the top, my Mod has that on the back (on the textured grip), but on the bottom, all it says is...

....Sample

Sorry about that. If you are going to ask for another replacement, ask where they got them. Depending on the answer, you might want your money back.

Also, there are many versions of the Mod and Tank, too. Vaporesso took our comments and suggestions seriously and made several changes since I received mine. Some of them may just be marked differently than mine.

Sorry again! Kaez was right about the labeling on the underside of the Tank.
