8 Wrap Clapton Build....Newbie

Hi and welcome! It depends on the tank you're using it on, the wire type you chose, and how you wick the coil. A "flavor" build needs some more info than the wrap number, which will only affect the resistance of the build, not necessarily the overall performance.

So if you have more info like the tank, coil, wick and stuff, it will be easier to help you.

My second ever build, I have a 8 wrap .38 ohm 26+32 clapton wire on a RX200. What should I have my watts at? It takes about 3 seconds to get hot at 42.0 watts and 4.00v. With the clapton in mind how many wraps should i do for a flavor build?

Try 6 wraps, spaced, with a 28+36 build at 3mm diameter, run at 45 watts or so. Best combo I've found on the Avocado. Great in temp mode with SS316L.
