Ecigexpress has a easy calculator. They are located in the vendors here on ecf. Just check out the diy section on website. I am sure you will find a correct percentage. Or go to ecigexpress.com.

i used e-calculator. but i just don't understand how people say 80/20 pg/vg. maybe they mean 80/20 without considering flavor percentage.

VG will cut nic down I cant agree with that, why do you say that ? Nic can be purchased with either a PG base or a VG base, so why do you say that the Vg wont cut the Nic down >???? also it would depend on what your flavoring base was, most flavorings are PG base, but there are also some I believe that are VG BASE

If you can do simple math, e-juice calculators aren't necessary for simple recipes.

Want to make 10mL of juice with 20% VG?
Multiply 10mL batch quantity x .2 to get 2mL of VG.

Want to make 18mg juice from 36mg nic liquid?
Divide 18 by 36 to get 0.5, multiply 10mL total batch quantity by 0.5 and you get 5ml.

Want to use 15% total flavoring?
Multiply batch quantity of 10mL x .15, result is 1.5. You will use 1.5mL of flavoring.

Okay, now add all those together:
2.0mL VG
5.0mL nic liquid
1.5mL flavoring
= 8.5mL total volume so far

Subtract 8.5mL from 10mL batch quantity and you get 1.5mL, the quantity of plain PG needed to finish the recipe.

I do the calculations, write down the ingredient volumes and percentages and then add them up to check for accuracy.

I may not be a pro mixer, I am just starting tbh, but math is pretty simple. if you started with 36mg nicotine and used 80% of that in the mix, you couldn't have 18mg or 50% by mixing in 20% of no nic anything without further cutting. so probably add some no nic pg into the mix as well to dilute it was all I meant.

Rachel edumacted me with a novel of info to read about mixing and got me into it before I even started vaping. it sounds pretty easy and makes sense to be able to tailor the juice to your own tastes. I just grab 28% nic pg and 0 vg to dilute a little to stay the same. cutting further I will worry about when feeling the need to cut back nicotine levels.
