801 charging problem

I got an RN4072 charger of the square type and from time to time my manual 801 batteries from HeavenGifts flash their orange LED many times when plugged into the charger but will eventually start to work once they have been charged a few times!

I got some auto 801 batteries now and they flash their green LED at me when I plug them in (their main LED colour is orange) whilst the charger's light remains green what on Earth are they trying to tell me? Is the RN4072 charger not compatible with DSE801 batteries? Anyone know what is going wrong?

Tribal, I've found that some of my DSE801 don't like the RN chargers and visa versa. A real pain in the ..... I have a wad of chargers around here and I don't know which are which anymore.

I still have 4 batteries that never would charge on any of them (purchased from EastMall about 6 months ago... they just sent me a different type to replace them which worked).
