One more question Sir Morandir :) (and happy holiday(s))

Can you pull the battery post up too high? I saw your video (kicking soundtrack, LOVE TOOL), and you raised it to about thread level

any chance of tearing a wire within the battery by doing so?

and do you find you thread the cartomizer far LESS down after raising the post like that? If I screw it on 'normal' it just pushes it back in, as above. I guess that's unavoidable

TIA

Cyrus

Happy holidays to you too Cyrus Vap sir. The great Snow sir deserves all the credit for the soundtrack, he edited and produced it. :)

Yes you can. The only batts I've ever pulled the post that far up on without breaking it are the king diamond and stealth autos from v4l. It was a last ditch effort to save a batt that was having draw issues. Luckily it worked. On any other batt wouldn't suggest it.

Does the same for me sir, just the nature of the beast. And if there's even the slightest variation from carto to carto you may end up having to adjust again.

The Volt batteries also stay lit until charged, then the light shuts off.

this is how my volt's behave on gen 2 chargers. but on my gen 1 charger, the light never turned off after several hours of charging. now, ever since i charged my volt (its a gen 2 batt) on the gen 1 charger, the light stays lit after its charged even on the gen 2 charger. i hope i didnt mess up the battery or its lifespan. seems to be performing fine so far.

You're partially right Cyrus Vap sir. Gen 1 chargers don't have the logic programmed in to tell the battery to cut off it's light. Gen 2 chargers still have the potential to overcharge just like the gen 1 if the batt is left on too long. Leave a gen 2 on it's charger for a few days and see how well it performs after. :)
