It feels like electricity is jumping from the cartomizer to my tongue. It isn't painful, but it is annoying. Has anybody else ever experienced this?

In the middle of typing this, I pushed the wire in the carto down a little further, seems to have fixed the problem. Still curious if this has ever happened to anybody else.

suprised that you could feel something below 4 volts. I know if you put a 9 volt battery on your tounge you get a small tingle. May be best to call that carto "done" and start on a new one. If it shorts out it could damage the battery if there is a loose wire in there.

Very good advise. Cartos are cheaper than batts and it sound like the one you are using is shorting to the metal body.

I encountered a similar problem a few months back. I was on 6 volts but hellyeah you can feel it. What I found was I had semi flooded the carto and it had filled the inside portion of the threads where the carto screws on. This allowed it to energize the shell of the carto and shock city. Get a paper towel and remove the carto. Hold the battery upside down and push it into the paper towel. Helps to fold or ball the towel up. Let gravity and the awesome absorbancy of the paper towel get that juice outta there. Then roll the paper towel to a blunt point and clean inside the atty threads. If it still shocks and awes chunck it as the above posts will then be correct. I found this to be a recurring problem with a certain group of atties....Ride the Lightning....

Thudd sometimes juice gets in the connection between the atty and battery and cuts the connection. I'm sure you've seen it Bro...Keep that paper towel handy..Often times when this happens I'll stick my tongue on the connection to check for proper battery voltage...works at 3.7 and even better at 6 volts. More of a tingle than a shock but at any rate you can feel it...I have boiled a bit of juice too..It's a different experience when a PV goes to spitting juice in your mouth....Bottom line keep that connection clean and the batteries HOT!!!

I always keep my connections clean, maybe that is why I've never experienced it, Still find it hard to believe, but I'm not gonna lick my KR8 to find out. lol
