I use mostly 808d cartomizers since I was getting annoyed with the 510 cartridge issues. Recently I discovered how much I like nhaler's juices so in a second order I decided to buy a High Voltage 901 atty and a drip tip. I wanted to see why a lot of people seem to favor dripping with a 901, and since I use a 5v Fog Log design the HV model seemed to be the logical choice.

I got the order in today. Both are excellent construction and seem to be working perfectly, but I don't see why 901 drippers prefer it to an 808d cartomizer. Could someone with more experience with both explain why they prefer it?

The vapor production and throat hit are just better on a 901 atty IMO. Which HV atty did you get? I actually prefer standard 901s on my V2... The BE901s are nice too, they have a little more resistance than a regular SLB 901.

Also, you cant really drip with 808 cartomizers, because you can't get liquid directly on the heating element... Dripping with an 808 is basically just topping it off.
