Just a short thread to remember those lost on 9/11, which still feels recent (for me) despite the passage of years. At 9:59 AM the first tower collapsed. I'm posting this just minutes before that first collapse that changed our lives forever.

Every generation has an event that made the country step back and causes us to remember the time and place where we were when it happened.Yes, never forget.
The world changed that day. I miss how we, as a nation, treated each other in the months following.

For me, although I was a bit too young (4th grade) to understand the full consequences, it was John F Kennedy's assassination. When 9-11 happened, my kids were the same age, and I told them that they would remember this day for the rest of their lives. My daughter is now 23 and she recently told me she didn't understand the consequences of 9-11 at that age, but she remembers what I said and agreed that she will remember that day for the rest of her life.
Yes, sir.It was the seminal event of our generation, and is a dividing line our history of our world pre and post 9/11.
