901 adapter too wide??

i have a 510 to 901 adapter and its tolo wide for my cartos and 901 attys??? any suggestions

That is odd. Try asking the place where you got it. Maybe they sent you the wrong adapter, like a 510 to 801 adapter which would probably be wider
