901 auto passthrough

One of my passthroughs is losing power. It's had a lot of use, as I leave it in my office and have used it at work for around the last 2-1/2 months.

So, my question is what are your experiences with passthrough lifespan?

Update: After 2 days of misbehaving it's suddenly working again. Haha, I guess it didn't like that I was saying bad things about it.

I just received a pass through, however, its a manual one. I would much prefer the auto passthrough. So to cut to the chase, where did you find your auto passthrough?
