901 battery questions

The two questions I have concern batteries for a 901. Is it possible to get a car charger (for the car's cigarette lighter)? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for long car trips.

The other question concerns the USB passthough. Does it work on laptops? I tried it on mine, and it said that something about power exceeding something else (wasn't really paying attention, it was just clear that my laptop was quite adamant). Either way, didn't work, although it works fine on my desktop computer.

I have 2 passthroughs and you are correct on the USB 2.0 issue.

On my desktop, 2.0. On my laptop, I don't know (although I assumed it was 2.0, since it is relatively new) -- I left it at work.
