So I was finally getting the hang of my dse901-T and the other morning I plug the charger in and my batt starts blinking red and green in a quick little cycle. As I have never seen this before, I became a little worried. Its a good thing I was sitting there because I burned my hand pulling this thing out of the wall socket, and I have no doubt that it could have burned my house to the ground if I had left it there long enough.
I waited until the first battery and the charger had cooled down and then attempted to charge my second batt. I was really hoping that it was a defective battery and not the charger because, bear in mind, I had just woke up and was getting ready for my morning cup of Joe, which of course makes it time for a nicotine fix for sure. Well... turns out it was the charger and as soon as I put the second battery on to charge, the lights started up again right quick. I pulled it off immediately and disconnected the battery from the charger, but spent the rest of the day puffing at mildly burned plastic stench... LAME
I have to say, the company I got the 901-T from is being super cool about it and sending me a new model all together, getting a 510 tank system, which hopefully will be slightly less dangerous than my defective 901-T, and infinitely more enjoyable than these terrible disposables I'm using until the real deal shows up.
