Hi Wolfenstark! Awesome name and thanks! Nice to meet you, love everything Aussie! Never been but my parents went for 10 weeks they had a friend there they'd made on a Euro tour and he invited them to stay with him. They even went to the Outback, which doesn't sound that major but if you knew my scary-... mom and snakes, even rubber ones HAHA She held a baby Koala bear...10 hours of video (not recent obviously!) and then their friend came to stay with us many weeks as well. My dad took him to see plantation homes and other assorted Louisiana stuff, they got along famously..the best was the "3 way calling"...that's what they called it when my mom, dad and Mr. Geoff got on the phone OMG and my sister and I had terrible visions of them and their "3 way" (it wasn't like that at all these were seriously old fuddy-duddies!...

I grew up in Gretna but spent lots of time on the East Bank, Mardi Gras stuff mostly and my childhood memories are full of my parents taking us to the Quarter to eat at Tony's Spaghetti House (GONE! not sure why...) eating beignets and cafe au lait..just walking around looking at antiques and we had our portraits done in pastel by street artists, AMAZING, still have them of course...I was about 7 judging from the one front tooth half in half out I love walking around the Quarter mostly in the daytime, not into all the craziness at night but occasionally go. Saw a burlesque show not long ago. Interesting...slightly disappointing after seeing Vegas shows but, really...it was a small bar, One Eyed Jacks, not enough chairs, slightly tacky but an experience and overall worth it especially the contortionist lady... There is nothing boring about this area to speak of that's for sure, love it or hate it, NOT boring. The vape shops are disappointing though, expensive (the rent there has to be insane!), the stock pathetic, young dudes not particularly interested in customer service or even making a sale. After spending far too much money around here in the B & M shops I am so ready to make a wishlist for an online store and wait like Christmas morning for some actual good working vape stuff to come! I am FLOORED I expected a few Hi's back but this is amazing! Just stalking the forum the last few weeks googling answers to problems I knew I'd join eventually it was like I HAD to I keep coming back! (like an AA meeting but without the misery lol!) Everyone is so welcoming and friendly! This is my first ever web forum I've joined and I've seen so many...I see stuff like "why did you bump this thread" and "you didn't answer OP's question" and "stay on topic!" kinda intimidating and I hope I can conform! I'm not ordinarily a conforming kinda person but I see the need to behave here. I was on Facebook 24/7 for a long time, up and left one day, too stressful and drama-riddled, this place seems perfect! Everyone has a common LIKE already! Not sure how much time I'll be able to spend here (too much already....I'm feeling that addicted "gotta check out the forum" thing already....hmmmm) but here at least I'm learning helpful stuff not just trying to decide if I have to LIKE another cat meme....hahaha. This place and you guys rock, I feel like I've come home.
Yes indeed! Cigs were so easy, light em up, throw em out....this is a freaking time sucking PROJECT, for me sometimes (last 4 days) EVERY vape! So involved and complicated! I mean, some people just get lucky I know, buy the perfect supplies, everything just WORKS...oh no, not me..tons of $ wasted, and honestly nothing here to show that and only a couple worth even using or saving. So disgusted I was about ready to QUIT (would definitely make someone else happy!) but I just CAN'T. Cigarettes are gross now, the smell, the nausea...the dizziness, (cost I wouldn't complain THESE days....) but now my clothes and hair smell good, people like me to vape in their vehicle they say I'm an "air freshener" now haha. My kids are happy, though my son is still a bit concerned about long-term health effects, he does prefer it to the old ones. My hope is to buy a couple of new things, have them actually work, and not spend 4, FOUR! days trying to get one of these dozens of atty's to work and all my expensive juice basically wasted...it's annoying, frustrating, sad and the fault of the B & M employees who didn't take the time to help
that's the truth......I've already learned so much here before joining so I have actual HOPE it will turn around now. And HI. (sorry I just go on and on like the Energizer Bunny...)- Status
