New to vaping... I went through 3 kits, 3 different brands, a few hundred bucks and was about to give up. Then I came across this forum and found so many insightful and helpful posts that I built 2 units from radio shack and home depot parts over the last 3 days and they out perform everything I bought from the crooks.

Thanks to y'all, I'm almost fully done with cigarettes now (only 2 today), and I have a great new hobby.

In short... This foum kicks ....!

Thank goodness I found this forum before I made a stupid mistake to order more rip-off cartridges from Smoke Free Online (thank goodness my kit was a present 'cause I would cry if I had to shell out $200 for a starter kit). Now I have 3 beautiful babies - eGo, eGo-T, and my newest addition, Go-Go. All thanks to the wonderful, free information available here from nice people.

Try wasting a couple hundred on v2 cigs dud cartridges- I agree with Wooden Indian - I mean defects are gonna happen sometimes with any manufactured product but when the co keeps sending them and won't replace or refund that -to me - is the same as stealing so I would say the word "crooks" could very well be appropriate in some cases -The problem with these companies is that it really does drive some people who are not aware of all the options back to analogs so IMHO these places are harming people in more ways than just financially-I almost went back to analogs- I have said my piece and plan to put it behind me so I won't keep harping on it but I wish I had known before I ever gave my credit card # to v2- luckily there is a happy ending to my story- I found this forum and all the great folks here have helped me out so much-I was really reluctant about filling my own cartos but it is so easy! I just got my ego today and am so happyyyyyy! I also want to thank the forum members who helped me-:) Good for you Wooden Indian I feel ya -We're here now so onward and upward right!
I LOVE MY NEW EGO!!!!

I was thrilled and extremely grateful to find this forum, too. It never occurred to me that there would be a forum about e-cigs, although it shouldn't have been any surprise when I ran across it while googling since there are forums for just about everything out there.

This place, though, is filled with so many wonderful and supportive people who are happy to help in any way they can.

It's also really cool because people are so cheerful about ridding themselves of cigarettes, either right away or weaning over time. You won't find many grim white-knucklers here!

Certainly there are crooks in the ecig business as there are in any business but there are way more good vendors out there then there are crooks, at least here in the US. I've been fortunate to not run into any. I've used 50 or more US vendors and have had very good service and got what I paid for.

Now the malls guys, well what can I say that hasn't already been said. But look at it this way. They are bringing ecigs out in the open and people are curious. So maybe they are ripping people off but at the same time they are exposing people to ecigs and a lot of people have switched. I'm not trying to defend them by any means, but they are serving a purpose. Exposing people to ecigs.
