Okay, so I'm new to the whole vaping life. Just recently converted to help put down cigs and its helping amazingly, but on to the issue.

The first vape I bought was the 1100 mah eGO One(much to my own downfall, as I could have spent $10 more and not being having this confusion at all), and after trying both the 1.0 and the .5 ohm coils I found that I prefer sub-ohms. That being said, the .5 seemed to drain the battery life rather quickly so I've already been looking at new mods. Most likely going with a Sigelei 70w temperature control or a Segelei 150w. While browsing for mods I came across an amazing sale on the aspire atlantis v2 tank and went ahead and bought it. I'm also dying to try out the new tank because it looks and feels so amazing.

Now, I'm not to tech savy as far as the voltage and all that goes(I've been attempting to educate myself), but from what I can tell online my ego one battery runs at around 20-40w depending on battery charge, so what I'm wanting to know is can I use my atlantis v2 tank on the ego one? The .5 ohm coils that come with the atlantis say they work at 20-30w, and given that the ego one itself comes with .5 coils I don't see why it wouldn't. But the ego one is also considered a "mech mod" from what I gather, and I keep coming across a rule of not to use subtanks with mech mods? But the eGO one came with a subohm tank? So yeah.. Anyone smarter than I am wanna help me out?

tldr; Can I use my Aspire Atlantis v2 subtank on my eGO One battery?

With the information I see, I'd say you could. But your much better off buying a new mod with either a single or dual 18650 battery setup. The Atlantis v2 is a great tank and one of my personal favorites. If I had to chose a mod to pair with it, I'd say the IPV D2 is perfect. 70 watts plus temp control is a great way to start off the subohm life. Also choosing a good quality 18650 is also important. The LG HE2 is good but spend a little more for some Sony VCT5's. I personally vape my Atlantis 2 at .5ohms and 40 watts. Great clouds.

Thanks for the info, and yeah I fully intend on getting a new mod as soon as my next pay day rolls around, but now that you've mentioned it... The IPV D2, would you recommend it over the Sigelei 70w temp control? I've read numerous good things about IPV mods but have never actually used one. I had simply defaulted to Sigelei as my next brand because a few friends of mine have them, and out of the few box mods I've tried I prefer them. Plus my local vape shops really try to push Sigelei, but I honestly think it might be just to try and make more money lol

Not sure if there's a rule against double posting and if there is I apologize but I have an update for anyone else wondering something similar; The Atlantis v2 works just fine on the eGO One, and after toying with the airflow settings it hits much better than the original tank. Its coils are also able to handle my max VG juice easily. Thanks again for the help, and this is what it looks like for those who are curious

Thats right this tank actually seems to be even worse on my battery life :/ but I get paid in a week and I'll getting a new mod. Now I'm stuck between the IPV D2(did some research after XXFa113nXX made the suggestion) or the Sigelei 70w temp control. Theyre both around the same price and I'm not sure which way to go. I love that there are so many options but I hate it at the same time xD

Aspire Atlantis Review - Vape Reviews That You Can Trust

Hope this helps! Do keep in mind tho..Sigelei 150w is a beast no doubt, but it requires additional 18650 batteries to be purchased separately. That is an additional cost. Pro side is that you can keep the MOD forever and just keep swapping batteries when they run out. Tho i doubt if you will ever require such high wattages. The vape is hot as hell! The 70w TC is a better option IMHO. Vape Safe;Vape Happy!

For battery life, I would go with a 2 battery mod. They are a lil bit bigger, but with 2 batteries you will be able to vape twice as long on a charge. The Sig 150 or iPV4S or iPV3Li would be good choices. All have TC and lots of power. The iPV4 fits better in your hand, but the other 2 are both solid devices too. If you decide to upgrade to a bigger tank like the Starre Pro or the TFV4, you will likely need the higher power they offer. If it was me, I would go ahead and spend an extra $15 - $20 now and get a higher power mod. The Snow Wolf 200 is also a popular choice, but is usually a lil more expensive.

I'd go with the sig. Sigs, for the most part, seem to be better quality. The d2 is smaller though.

As being new to vapind, i would like to congratulate on being open to buying some quality stuff. A sigelei 150 gives you a good mod to use even if you progress into rdas. Getting a good tank is also good to stick with it. Ive seen so many people go back to cigarettes because they bought $20 setups that absolutely suck. The atlantis is a great tank

The ego one is like a mech mod only because you can't regulate voltage, but I believe it still has built in safety.when they say not safe for mech mod they are talking about unregulated with no built in safety.
