I very seldom clean but when I do, I take the long tube protector from a carto and slide it on the atty from thread end about 1/4 in up. I drip in a few drops of H2O2 and then 'pump' the bottom of the protector to slush it up and down. Repeat a couple of times, then blow out good, vape off a little steam without inhale, then load her up and go. Sweetens attys up like new.

edit: 91 percent alcohol works well also. To dry, find something to hold you atty with and blast it with a hairdryer. The alcohol evaporates pretty quick.

I had 3 attys last me 6 months rotating them every 4 to 5 days. And they still work. Like swedishfish said, i soaked them in iso alcohol anywheres from a couple hrs. pick up the attys a couple times in the iso to let it drain thru the air ways, and i just let them air dry for a day, didn't rinse in water. The cartridge i would rinse in hot tap water, blow out the extra water, soak in the iso alc to kill germs for 5 min, then air dry for a day.

I have done just about every method here as well and including trying vodka... I didn't really like the vodka soaking method. The way I found best, for me, was to boil them for about 2-3 minutes and then let them dry for a day, shoot a couple of quick dry burns to get anything that might have soaked into them and then drip. I have also been using the dual coil cartos now and I did boil some of them... but they take forever to dry so I don't know a good way to clean them.
