Actually, I don't know a heck of a lot about it. I was diagnosed and sent on my way was about the size of it. Oh sure they stuffed some literature in my hands, but I never paid much attention to it. There is a forum on the internet "for people like me" and I have often thought about going there. Maybe I should be there rather than here for sure. It's a thought anyhow.

You guys are going to make me blush.. I never had people that thought that way. I always just figured they thought I was weird and so I started calling myself that. You guys are very cool indeed!

Yeah brother, I wished I never heard of Asperger's Syndrome for sure. I was diagnosed about 2 years ago myself.... Always wondered why I didn't have the interests of most people..... Now I know why. Always stayed off to myself pretty much.

They say I am a "high functioning" Asperger dude, which is just a fancy way of saying I am not developmentally challenged lol...

I really get a kick out of some of these croaker's I got to tell ya man ---- They say because I am the way I am that I am above average in many mental areas....Whoooopi, means little too me for sure as I don't care about stuff like that.

It's nice to know there are other weirdo's on here besides myself.

My brother got diagnosed with Aspergers in 1996 spending months in a hospital.
He's not like many of the people I see in videos on the internet.
Up until a few years ago you very rarely heard about it or came across anyone that had it.
If you can say more than a few words to someone in the outside world then you're probably not as bad as he is.
Although he does remember basically everything.

Yeah. I never thought I wanted one. I freaked out when I found out the babymama was prego. I had a lil "mid-life crisis" @ 25. Lol! She's the best thing that ever happened to me though. Nothing else in the world has ever brought me so much joy. She's a hs freshman this year.

From what I know about it some people get it in different ways.... With some people it disables them in certain ways.... With others it has the opposite effect as it tends to accentuate certain abilities. I have never been disabled from it. If anything it has always been the opposite. The only thing that has been screwy with me from it is in regards to being social. I don't mind being on the web and yakking at people but get me around more than a few people and I clam up big time.

meh - weird is completely based on perspective and baseline... if 'normal' means being oblivious, sub-capable and chewing cud with the herd, then sign me up for weird +1
